Bad Credit Mortgages Holders Could Benefit from Debt Management Advice
From the moment the bad credit mortgages bombshell exploded onto the world stage from the USA towards the end of 2007, the world’s financial markets have been in turmoil.
The result has been that sub prime mortgages or bad credit mortgages as they’re best known in the UK, have constantly been headline news.
In addition recent news about increasing household bills has turned peoples attention to how much people are paying for their mortgages.
A recent survey undertaken on behalf of the BBC showed that there was a rise of 35 per cent in mortgage queries at the beginning of the year as against a year ago. This is ironic given the vastly reduced number of products available!
Increases in household bills also contributed to more than 215,000 new debt problems which continues to grow expotentially.
The Citizen Advice Bureau also commented on the fact that up to a third of enquiries to the CAB were related to bad credit mortgages with the issue of mortgage arrears being highlighted as the major issue for the next twelve months.
The best advice if your having problems making payments on your bad credit mortgage is to contact the lender immediately to get help or to negotiate an alternative plan
